Since 2004, CGI Northeast has performed many injection waterproofing applications at various cellar and sub-cellar rooms, including vaulted sidewalk locations. “CGI” waterproofing was implemented in any locations including the Kitchen Area, Laundry Room, Mechanical Room, Chiller Room, Suction Tank Concrete Walls, House Keeping Rms., within sidewalk vault areas, Locker Areas, etc. Applications were performed within foundation walls, structural vaulted slabs and within sidewalk expansion joints.
As the water intrusion was evident for many years at these areas, prior to our inception on site, the concrete foundation walls/vaulted slabs were spalling and corroded steel rebar was exposed at various locations. After our injection waterproofing eliminated the water intrusion at these areas, our crews performed extensive rebar reconditioning and/or replacement with new epoxy coated rebar, and concrete patching, followed by the application of finished breathable coatings.
